P143 and our Colombia partners were required to cancel our 2020 winter host program due to the rising numbers of COVID related cases. However, we have created several alternative hosting related options which include Zoom connections and Zoom connections with a Spring Host program. The same paperwork applies as if you are in a full hosting program.
As a result of the Covid-19 pandemic, Ukraine continues to only allow travel on a restricted basis. Ukraine is not supporting host programs in 2020. Consequently, there will be no Ukraine host programs in 2020. We hope to resume in the summer of 2021.

P143 and our Colombia partners are suggesting to delay the timing of the summer program by 2-4 weeks, but are still committed to having a summer program. For families interested in the Colombia program, the psycho social (PSV) process can begin via a video conference with a social worker but finalization will require a home visit. We continue to monitor the situation with our partners in Latvia, and Ukraine and will update the P143 website and our Facebook page as we learn more.
Our partner countries for hosting all have closed borders as they work to slow the spread of Covid-19. At the current time, we are still moving forward with the necessary steps for our host programs in anticipation of a late June arrival.
